The Rubicon Society

Welcome to The Rubicon Society of Lane County, a non-profit organization.

Founded in 1969, we are the oldest, continuous, public forum in Eugene/Springfield and in the entire Southern Willamette Valley.

If you're interested in the political process, the Rubicon Society of Lane County may be for you.

We give you the opportunity to learn about the political process and issues, and a chance to get to know candidates, elected officials, and many others experienced in local political issues.

We offer a free noon-time speaker program to the general public on most Thursdays. No reservation or fee. Just drop in!
